Early Pickup Procedure.

Early Pickup Procedure:

If a student needs to leave school early, families must email both the classroom teacher and KO Attendance in advance to notify them of the early dismissal.

When you arrive at school, please report to the main office to sign your student out. Office staff will then contact the classroom so your student can be released. Please allow adequate time for your student to pack their belongings and come to the office.

Please note: Early student pickup cannot be guaranteed after 2:00 PM. Families are encouraged to plan accordingly.

Tardies and early pickups will only be excused for the following reasons:

• illness, health condition, or medical appointment (including, but not limited to, medical, counseling, dental, or optometry). 
• Family emergency, including, but not limited to, a death or illness in the family.
• Religious or cultural purpose, including observance of a religious or cultural holiday or participation in religious or cultural instruction.
