Welcome to PE at Kokanee!

Our goal is to develop a lifelong love of physical activity in our students by introducing them to a variety of physical activities and athletic opportunities, teaching them the importance of living an active lifestyle.

Meet the Kokanee PE Team:

Greg Martin - Physical Education

Hello Kokanee Families! I am thrilled to be back at Kokanee teaching PE. This is my 6th year at Kokanee, and I am excited to be working with all of our Kodiaks. Effort and participation are crucial to success in PE. We have a wide variety of sport and movement units, and we can't wait to get started! I also coach cross country and track and field at Kokanee. I live in Redmond with my wife, Thu. My son and daughter are studying business at UW. When I'm not at school, I enjoy exercising outdoors, reading, playing drums, and spending time with friends and family.

Sara Lee - Physical Education and Music

My name is Ms. Lee, and I am a PE and Music teacher at Kokanee. I was born and raised in Washington and love this area. This will be my 5th year at this school, so I am super excited to see all of the familiar faces coming back this year! If this is your first year at Kokanee, I look forward to getting to know you! I truly believe I have the best job because my biggest passions in life are singing, being active, and working with kids, which I get to do every day! In my free time, I love to go paddleboarding, play tennis, boulder, and ski! Say hi to me if you see me in the hallways!

Michelle Olson - Physical Education

I am excited to be part of the team at Kokanee! This is my 6th year teaching elementary PE and my 22nd year teaching in the Northshore School District. I have previously taught Spanish at WHS, LMS, and BHS and coached girls' golf at BHS. My dog Scout is one of the therapy dogs at Kokanee. Outside of school, in addition to living an active lifestyle, I am a group fitness instructor for local gyms. My goal is to teach students to love movement and promote lifelong fitness. I live in Woodinville with my son, Wyatt, who is a graduating senior this year.
