Did you know the state still does not fully fund K-12 education, including athletics, performing arts and other opportunities? Our district, like all others in the state, relies on local levies to fund learning, and bonds to fund building to make sure our students have spaces to learn.
Families will learn about how the i-Ready Assessment is used to create a personalized pathway of instruction for every student.
The Emergency Broadband Benefit is an FCC program to help families and households struggling to afford internet service during the COVID-19 pandemic.
NSD's student technology policy offers 1:1 device assignments: Chromebooks for every student in grades 2-12 to carry between home and school; iPads for all Kindergarten and 1st grade students for use in the classroom. K-1 iPads will only go home in the case of a quarantine learning situation.
All parents/guardians will be asked to sign a Student Technology Use Agreement annually before a device can be taken home.
